Anderson School Wassail Cider Fest

Date
Jan 10, 2026 4:30 PM — 5:00 PM
Location
Anderson School - Haynes’ Hall

Join us for the Inaugural Anderson School Wassail Cider Fest! Wassail is an early-English toast to good health and, in this case, a cider party celebrating the tradition of awakening apple trees and scaring away evil spirits to ensure a good harvest.

Sound & Fury Morris Men Dancers perform the folk dance and wassail toast at 4:30pm.

Enjoy live music, folk dancing, a costume contest, and a ceremonial wassail toast with Northwest cider houses, including McMenamins’ own cider from Edgefield. Wear bright colors with medieval flair for the costume contest.
